Hello! After grinding out prereqs I’m finally starting a 24 month continuous program in Canada. I read the posts in the wiki and a lot of people say enjoy the summer before the grind starts.

Knowing what you know what advice would you share about getting the most out of the first year old school? Is it possible to actually enjoy it?

Should I preemptively go on antidepressants? It’s something I’ve been on before and while I’m okay rn, I sometimes get scared of how crushing the schedule will be and busywork I’ll have to navigate.

I’ll be moving to a new, smaller city for the program and navigating this without family or friends close by.
