A website that doesn't convert is just an expensive business card — drop yours below

A website that doesn't convert visitors into customers is basically just an expensive business card.

A lot of service business websites have the same problems:

hard to book or contact

slow on mobile

no clear way to capture leads

nobody replying after hours

So people visit the site, get confused, and leave.

These usually aren't just design issues — they directly affect how many inquiries and customers a business gets.

Drop your website below and I’ll tell you one thing I’d improve first.

How do you handle unpaid invoices as a freelancer?

Curious how others manage this —

How do you create and send invoices?

Do you follow up on WhatsApp or email?

What’s the most frustrating part of chasing payments?

Asking because I’ve been struggling with this myself and want to know if others have figured out a better way.

We originally started by building booking-focused websites for niches like mehndi artists and dental clinics.

But after outreach and talking to businesses, we realized most of them didn’t really care about the booking system itself — they cared more about having a professional online presence that builds trust.

So now we’re pivoting toward creating branded business websites first, with booking/features as optional add-ons instead of the main pitch.

Still early, still figuring things out, and honestly trying to understand:

Which niches actually value good websites?

How do small agencies land their first consistent clients?

Is cold outreach still working for service businesses in 2026?

Would appreciate advice from people who’ve gone through this phase.
