Hi everyone!
I just wanted to share a bit of enthusiasm with you all: I’ve been using the Analogue app for a while now, and I have to say it’s brilliantly made. It genuinely brought back my passion for photography!
I really want to give a shoutout to the developer, u/StudioFutura: you’ve done an absolutely fantastic job with this app!
The rendering is amazing and gives me a huge sense of nostalgia, taking me right back to the 90s when I used to shoot with my beloved Nikon FM2. Specifically, I’ve been using the Fuji Color C200 preset a lot, and I’m loving the results.
What I appreciate most is how it handles dynamic range: it isn't overly blown out like modern cameras. I’ve always disliked the artificial "HDR look"—for me, the real charm of photography lies in the interplay between light and shadows, with bold contrasts. When dynamic range doesn't try to lift every shadow at all costs, the image gains so much more depth and character.
I’m sharing a few shots below. Let me know what you think!
Thanks everyone, cheers!
