Working an exhausting 8-12h job, trying to escape via n8n freelancing - no luck so far. Advice?

Hi, I rarely post here, but today I came across a post from a guy who got some really good advice, so I decided to write one too - maybe someone can give me good advice as well.

A bit about myself: I’m a guy working a regular job, 8-12 hours a day.

This job wears me out badly, and I’m trying to find some kind of income (preferably online).

I know n8n, I can automate processes, and I tried to find something on Upwork. But nobody has messaged me back - competition, and I’ve already spent $15 on job application fees.

Does anyone know if it makes sense to keep learning/looking for n8n clients? Or am I just wasting my time?
