Medieval Farm - Complete

Calling it a wrap on this project. All in all rather pleased with the outcome, despite some shortcomings from the original plan. Was able to create several slice of life scenes; the farmer sheering sheep, farm wife dying cloth, son tending the beehive, & the wolf in the wheat.

Rather pleased with the slice gate and irrigation ditch. Credit to martinbrickdesign for the spinning wheel and loom, I had to make some adjustments but without those as a base not sure what I would have come up with.

Now onto the next project, a Griffin Knights fortress of some sort. Should have more bricks showing up for rockwork this week.

Medieval Farm updates (WIP)

Need a pick a brick order to finish the wheat field, and the 2nd story needs to be furnished.

I originally wanted to do a cow farm and barn but didn't have the footprint to pull that off. I am really pleased with the pivot to the sheep, farmer sheers, wife dyeing cloth and son gathering honey. Spinning wheel inside turned out real well. Might move it upstairs depending on how much room a loom would take.

Farm WIP

Just sharing my progress on the next MOC. My favorite part so far is the irritation ditch can be switched to show watered/unwatered. Still need to add some more decorations to the interior, a sheep pen, landscaping and lots more wheat (pick-a brick order incoming).

Sea Serpent Modified

Felt like the new Sea Serpent could use a few adjustments. Luckily with my 2nd copy & extra parts from my collection I was able to make some tweaks. Raised the height of fore and aft castles, widened the ship to 9 studs, & added the figurehead. Lastly changed the cabin interior to have a map, compass, & goblet.

What non-castle set has a surprising number of useful castle parts?

Picked up a few sets this week to get 2 copies of the Sea Serpent; surprisingly the Tiger Shark Tank has a bunch of useful parts. 21 Gold ingots, 1x5s which work great for beds, bunches of parts for banners.

So what non-castle sets would you say have great parts for castles?
