Ai rushed tech so fast on sid difficulty that no one ever built the great library. So I waited till they were in the modern era to build it😂

Curious how my Monarch game out-did my Sid game on score. I won much faster on my Sid game by domination. This Monarch win was won by victory points. Did the same thing yesterday on Monarch with a different game and scored in the 60,000’s, winning by victory point limit as well. (Though the bug of it crashing caused the score to not be added.)

I’m not sure how the score can be so astronomically higher. I typically only score 8,000-15,000 on a Monarch win by donination!

At the beginning of this week I had only won on emperor once and never any higher. This week I made it a goal to win on emperor using more early game attack strategies. Quickly realized the impact it had in slowing the ai down in terms of their tech ing. I’ve played civ 3 since I was 4 years old, now 27. Gotta give some credit to suede for the inspiration to try out fighting earlier. Never thought I would win a game on Sid. Next goal… win some of these games on larger map sizes at these difficulties!

I’ve played civ 3 for 23 years, but never really given much attempt to anything above emperor. This felt nice. Deity next!
