A big win with a parent.

There's a mom at my work who I thought strongly disliked me. She hardly ever answers me when I say "good morning" or "have a good night." She's also been upset with me and my lead because she didn't think we were doing enough to accommodate her son's food issues. After several weeks of sending her pics and quick messages about his great day every day and telling her about some of what I had read about her sons food issues, I think she finally realized I truly care about her son and want what's best for him. I think so because yesterday, (Saturday, so outside of school hours) she sent me pictures of her son right after his new haircut. It was a dramatic change for him, and I'm thrilled that she wanted to share it with me. Do you guys get along with all your parents? I've only ever had this one mom not like me.

Kids say the funniest things.

Today, I was talking to a 4 year old about desserts we like. He said he likes chocolate, so I asked him where he gets his so I could go get some. He said, "Well, you go to the stop sign. Then you just have to figure it out." I about died laughing and had to tell everyone. What's something your kids have said recently that made you laugh?

I want to hear what made you laugh today. For me, I was playing beauty shop with a few of the kids. I had one doing my hair, one doing my makeup, and one doing my nails. The little girl doing my makeup suddenly huffs and says, "This is disgusting!" and starts pretending to pluck my eyebrows! I was like, "Girl, i just got them done!" I was dying laughing!
