I happen to be travelling to NYC from overseas this week for work. I'm staying until Sunday night so I would like to be able to take in the fireworks tomorrow night but I am imagining all the advertised official viewing spots will be absolutely rammed. I was wondering if a Nerdfighter with local knowledge might be able to suggest some potential viewing spots?

The official advice is: "The show will take place on the lower Hudson River and lower East River.

You can view the fireworks from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the lower Hudson River and lower East River."
