I’m hoping someone who has gone through the process of adding a spouse after AOR can help clear up some confusion I’m having with the document requests.
My Timeline/Background:
- Applied for PR under CEC and received my ITA.
- Submitted the application and received AOR.
- Got married about a month later and raised a web form to inform IRCC and add my spouse to the application.
- IRCC replied with a request letter asking for the 8 items (Including docs and IMM forms)
My Questions:
1. Which version of the forms do I use?
When I go to download IMM 5406, IMM 5669, and IMM 5562, it gives me two options:
- A digital version in the Permanent Residence Portal
- A PDF version for paper applications
If I click the digital one, it redirects me to the new PR Portal. Since I already have an ongoing Express Entry application in GCKey, do I just download the PDF versions?
2. How do I upload everything?
IRCC created a new placeholder in my GCKey portal named "Kit, Application forms", but there is only one upload slot. How do I submit all 8 of these requested items (including the dynamic IMM forms that need Adobe) into a single slot? Do I need to merge them all into one massive PDF?
Any advice from people who have successfully navigated this would be hugely appreciated! Thank you!
