Hello ladies, gays, and theys :)
I wanna support, advocate, and educate myself in the queer community. I’ve been doing pretty well on finding artists and musicians so far. I am now earnestly trying to learn about queer and lesbian history, and books would be my favorite avenue to do that with!
I thought maybe some of you had some good recommendations (or things to steer clear of)?? They can be biographies, poetry, essays, memoirs, historical fiction, etc. I struggle with keeping nonfiction interest so I want the good stuff. If you have movies or docs recommendations, I would be grateful as well. TIA!!
(Photo is for engagement. It is my in-progress painting.<3 )
