my experience with norethindtone for edc weekend!
i took norethindrone to delay my period for edc weekend and i couldn’t find a lot of info on it leading up, so i wanted to share my experience for anyone who might have the same plan in the future!
i ordered mine online and began taking them two days prior to the festival. i stopped my doses on the last day of the festival so i didnt have to worry about taking them on the last day. i didn’t experience any side affects, but i did still get my regular pms symptoms and was a little anxious/irritable but it wasn’t anything out of the normal for me. i didnt notice any bloating or anything of that sort! my period did just begin 3 days after stopping the pill and i do have cramps but nothing unbearable, the same cramps i always get.
another thing i was curious about leading up to this was if i would be able to still roll while on this medication. i decided to try it out and it worked! i rolled like normal, so to answer if you can still go about your regular rave festivities on this pill—the answer is yes!
i will say, the comedown along with getting your period is really uncomfortable but i would say it is arguably worth it for the experience.
