Not pictured: Three patch cables zip tied to the other cables coming out of the wall not plugged in and one cable that I have used a cable tester to identify as going to the garage where the fiber line comes in and there is a modem, plus another cable that I just have no idea what it is for.
The house in theory has wired Ethernet to the kitchen, living room, all three bedrooms, and a loft, so six outlets. Currently nothing plugged into those works. I assume they just unplugged the entire patch panel as they were moving stuff out but nothing is labeled and I couldn't hazard a guess as to how everything is supposed to be plugged in. The panel has eight individual wires connected to it, as far as I can tell.
They built a small shelf out of scrap wood just above the panel that I think must have held the router at some point. I would ask the owner but I gather the husband did all the networking and he is unfortunately in a facility and she has no idea how anything in the house works.
Thanks for any help.
