Hi there! My 6 month old will only contact nap which is not sustainable for us with a one year old. We started nap training yesterday and he has been crying the whole time. Both yesterday and today we had to end up contact napping because the attempts in the crib failed. He is breast fed and will not take a pacifier. He did try sucking his thumb but couldn’t self soothe like he does overnight.

How long do we keep trying if every nap is failed besides contact napping? He sleeps through the night and we do a 2 hour wake window for first nap and he seems ready to sleep.
