Best & only convert XLRI Delhi, Not taking admission this year

Hi fam, bit of my 2 cents

Profile - 997 Gem, graduation from NIT, 2.5 + years of exp in supply chain tech(manager is good, money is average average) .

Cat 2025- 97.35

XAT- 98.95

Gave 4 interview, iift, jap, xlri bm/hrm

Convert Xlri Delhi, waitlisted 158, 232 in bm jsr and hrm. 99% will not converr these.

I plan to give cat and xat next year with some 6 months prep. This year it was 0 for cat and 1 month for Xat and full fledged prep for interview.

Cat was pure luck play got 97+ in VALR and below 90 in lrdi and quant. A lot of questions in Varc were correct because of luck.

Xat was 88 English, 88 decision making, 99.2 quant......had mainly studied for quant as I thought my English was good 🤣 which was not the case..... Still got around 98.95 pretty decent score I would say.

Now why I did not take delhi was because I did not want to shell 32 lakh on a brand I don't recognize. Don't get me wrong I would take xlri jsr anyaay over K and I, but delhi Naah.

I will be targetting IIM ABCL, XLRI, TISS, FMS, IIFT delhi Ib(if things get better), SPJIMR. I think target is very very tight but I'm wishing for the best.

I know a lot of people will think I am a C, maybe I am, but I want to take a bet on myself. Parents were also telling me to take Xlri Delhi but yaar jo hoga dekha jaega. I have no regrets of leaving it....kya pata ek saal baad regret ho....tab ka tab dekhenge.

Any and all advices and wishes are welcome.

Hi, so I am an engineer with 2.5 years of experience in tech. I really like my company because of a few things. I think I am fairly compensated, around 13 to 15 lakhs per annum. Workload is less and work-life balance is good. I have a hybrid working culture, so only two days a week I have to go to office and I can go to home for like one-one month in a year, so mostly I am home for around two months in a year.

Now I want to do an MBA. But for me, the most important thing is not the money I will get after MBA, but the most important thing is work-life balance and a hybrid working culture. Hybrid does not mean four days in a week in office. Hybrid means at least two to three days of work from home in an office. I am not sure of the roles that are being offered in top IIMs and private colleges like XLRI, SPJIMR or MDI or Symbiosis. I want to ask you guys what kind of roles are being offered in these colleges and is there a good chance that I can get a role that I have described?

I am interested in HRM and Prod Man even at cost of growth and money.

Why so slow XLRI ?

After seeing so many colleges giving out their results I wonder why XLRI is being so slow, I know the results will be soon but it is making me overthink a lot .......any updates on when we can expect results?, did anyone speak to XLRI admissions office?..........and do all people who are waitlisted or converted get the mail at approx same time? Is it okay to assume that if you didn't get mail you have been rejected?
