Meatball just had a very rough couple of weeks thanks to his gluttony and a dumb mistake I made. He swallowed the rubber tip of the tongs I was using to feed him (they were cheap and I should've known better than to use something so low quality on him). I took him to an exotic vet for x rays and then quickly scheduled the surgery. The vet was able to remove it with an endoscope (they were concerned he might need abdominal surgery to take it out but thankfully not). It was really scary when he was recovering from anesthesia. He was more swollen than I've ever seen him, and I really thought I would lose him that night. However it's been a couple weeks and I'm confident he has made a full recovery!
