25m, I saw on a different subreddit that Roth IRA's shouldn't have any dividend heavy ETF's because they are tax advantage accounts and they should be used for growth ETF's/stocks. I'm just starting off my Roth. I have roughly 1k invested into $VOO at the moment and some change put into $SCHD for later on. I know i'm still young so it's not the end of the world but why do people claim putting dividend ETF's/Stocks into a Roth is bad?
