Morning,
I have around 20,000 sitting in PNC savings thinking it was 3% but its actually 0.03% literally making $6 a year. I’m looking for an hysa with no fees, is a reliable company, and has a decent interest rate. I’m seeing ones such as FVCbank and Peak Bank with a 4%, wasn’t sure if these were good or not.
~9 week old mini dachshund. Brought her home about 3 days ago. We have a small cage with her bed which is then inside an exercise pen. She naps in the cage throughout the day, and we keep her in the x-pen periodically throughout the day. Occasional whining but nothing insane.
at night, we put her to bed around 9:30-10. She gets into her bed on her own, we shut the cage door, and she doesnt make a noise. She’s been waking up around 2:30-3 am, so we get up and take her out for potty then bring her back in. Straight into the cage because I’ve read it’s supposed to be boring and right back to bed. We cannot get her to go back to sleep after this. She sits in the cage and cries and barks nonstop. Last night she barked and whined from 3:30-6:30 AM with maybe one or two 5 minute silence periods, but other than that just straight barking and whining. We tried sitting near the cage quietly for about 20 minutes, but nothing.
Do we continue doing what we’re doing? We don’t give her any food and we dont let her play during this time. Any advice would be great because she’s kept us up since 3 am and cannot go back to sleep. I understand she’s new and young, but we’re starting to regret getting a dog.
