I recently hit 1,000 followers on TikTok, but I’ve noticed a spike in other creator accounts following me instead of regular viewers. I’ve also been engaging with other creators in my niche and now I’m wondering:

Is this actually helping my growth, or just attracting other creators?

Does this start to resemble “follow-for-follow” behavior?

Could TikTok be categorizing my account in a way that limits reach to a broader audience?

I’m trying to grow an audience, not just network with other creators, so I’m not sure if I should keep doing this or pull back. I have a pet account if that is relevant.
