Hi all,

I am based in Ireland and got the call yesterday at 25 weeks pregnant that I have gestational diabetes. I had failed before I even started.

My worry is I have had pre diabetes tendencies before and because this is an ivf pregnancy I have been on Metformin for years and was shocked at the result yesterday.

I am so worried I had developed type 2 diabetes and not known and now have gestational diabetes and worried I have harmed my baby.

Anatomy scan showed all was well but that worry is still there.

Pregnancy is wild!
