Southwest is a family unfriendly dumpster fire

If you haven’t traveled since they changed their policy of assigned seats I would recommend reading some reviews. They no longer have family pre boarding which is okay but if you just do basic fare they now scramble you in random seats. They will try to seat at least one parent by a child and if not they can work to get you on the next flight. Oh and there is also a glitch which can randomly put your child by some random strangers. If you and your husband/wife are traveling with you they will be randomly put in a seat away from you. They say it’s what people wanted but it is a very obvious money grab.
