I had a platform which people were using to purchase items. Some fraudulent users came on it. They were using the platform payment system to verify their contacts. I was able to track them down using a month tracking their footprints and socials, I got their image location and phone details.

I set the guys picture on the website to tell him that he should stop. He called and begged. Then after few weeks he started again.

I contacted the Cyber Security Dept. of the Police. They told me to the police since i have the data to make the arrest.

So I did called the Ghana Police Service that i had found these guys and i have the data on them so i would like them to make the arrest. They told to contact the CID dept of the police.

Then i contacted the CID department😂, they also told me to contact the police😂. I called the Police again they told me contact the CID..😂.

Then i tried with the police headquater number. They told me that " I know, the Headquaters is big and i should contact my local police". I was like I'm not in Accra at the moment. They said the i should wait.😂.

I have the info on these guys; Photos, Location, Phone Numbers etc. I want to like release so they can arrest them, but i don't how to do that..

Any tips?

I taught these were not present in the tech space and not even in Ghana !!

You worked hard, developed and lanuched a statup platform. Other competitors in Ghana see it. They noticed you're performing better that them in every way.

Then, they go and hire one Local Ghanaian hacker to just fuzz and disturb your app's database, which is making your system's health very poor and increasing your cost the fact that you're a startup and you're attracting more users.

Tell them this:
"Every great platform/system has to bear the risk". I've tried my possible best to locate the company and the person who is doing that through social engineering.

This wasn't a server side attack. They manually visit the platform like how normal client do. And they perform operation, such as randomly initiatizing payments back and forth.

I was able to social engineer and get the identity of them.

What should i do to them?
