i’ve been trying to name my male lead and i keep circling back to the SAME names… ayan, veer, revansh, rajveer, siddharth , abhimanyu and i really don’t want to go down the usual with malhotra/oberoi/chandravanshi route again

I want new name suggestions!!! i want something that feels fresh but still desi, you know? like a name that actually stands out a little and feels real. if you have any unique first + last name combos, please drop them 🥹 i’d really appreciate it

I’m honestly so done with these CEO/mafia/Rajasthan-king type trope books. Like please, kitni baar same recycled story? MMC is always some ultra-powerful alpha male CEO by day, mafia by night, probably signing deals even in his sleep, and yes, taking showers in a three-piece suit because why not. And the FMC? Same “bhooli, middle-class, college girl” with zero ambition except adjusting her dupatta in slow motion on some aesthetic song and thinking “I can fix him.” Fix what, behen?

Her entire personality is just existing to be impressed by his power, while he broods and controls everything like it’s attractive. Where is the depth? Where is the personality? Why is she always stuck being naive while he gets to have all the layers?

At this point, I just want to write something different ,where the girl actually has goals beyond romance, where she’s not here to fix a walking red flag, and where the story doesn’t revolve around a man whose only personality trait is “rich and rude.” Seriously, authors need to chill with this alpha obsession and give us something new, because this copy-paste fantasy is getting embarrassing now.
