Can black people go lighter with age?
I’m asking because I come from a very white country and I don’t have any black friends to ask. And I do feel stupid for asking! 🙈 But I just saw a young actress who used be a child star interviewed on the red carpet and I remembered her as a lot darker when she was a kid. I don’t want to say who because I feel like it’s kinda rude to comment on her skin tone. She was a really cute kid and she is a beautiful woman now, but her skin tone looks very different. 🤷♀️ So I guess I was wondering if the skin can go lighter as people age.
I know people can change with exposure to sun. If I go away to somewhere sunny, my skin changes. But it doesn’t stay like that for long.
