Yesterday cardinals had a baby bird (sitting up and looking at us) in its nest. This morning both are gone, but the parents have been flying around all afternoon chirping. I’m guessing they’re searching for the baby bird? I can’t find it anywhere in our fenced in backyard. How long can it take for them to find it?
