LOW sGPA and cGPA - SMP or reapply?

Hello (apologizes in advance for the info dump)

For context, graduated from a private university last May. Though my undergraduate GPA from that university is approx a 2.9, if I combine it with the college courses I did in High School, my cGPA is around 3.08 (I had a lot of family deaths and financial difficulties during college, so I struggled significantly, but that doesn’t change the fact that my GPA is considerably low). Additionally, my sGPA is ABYSMALLY low because I unfortunately didn’t get the memo that every attempt was counted in those calculations, and I failed several core science classes due to 3 significant and sudden family deaths that fell right before finals in my freshman and sophomore year.
I was considering applying to an SMP, preferably one with a linkage program, but I’m wondering what programs would even accept me with my given (s)GPA.
I’m also wondering if this is the right decision, as I’ve seen many people saying a SMP is a kind of last resort due to the costs and the high risk.

Additionally, a post bacc program doesn’t make sense for me since I have a lot of undergraduate credits already. Even if I did 40 hours, it would, at most, pull my cGPA up to a 3.2-3.25, so it wouldn’t make a significant difference at this point).
I also have a 504 on the MCAT from last year (but I genuinely think I could get higher if I retook it once more).

I applied last cycle, and I didn’t get to apply to many MD schools due to issues with my tax form and subsequently, the fee waivers. I also haven’t yet tried applying to any DO schools, which I’ve seen other people recommend on similar posts.

I just tuned 24, but I have this all consuming feeling of failing and falling behind my other classmates.

Needless to say, I’m spiraling and in desperate need for any kind of tips or advice on how to proceed.

Thank you for you time :)
