Some Street Shots from Today
A few street shots from today, captured with my Ricoh GR IV.
No particular plan, just walking around and taking photos of whatever caught my eye.
Hope you enjoy them!

Caught this little one in that half-asleep, dreamy state. Too cute to resist.
Shot on my GR IV.
Today, I wasn’t photographing the relics. I was photographing the people who came to meet history.
Sometimes, the visitors tell an equally compelling story.
Photographed at the East Branch of the Shanghai Museum.
Hope you enjoy these moments.
Snap Focus is one of the defining features of the GR series, so I finally decided to make it part of the way I shoot.
These are a few of my favorite frames captured using Snap Focus.
Hope you enjoy them!
Street photography isn’t limited to the streets.
These frames were taken indoors, where I was drawn to the interplay of light, shadows. Sometimes the best moments happen away from the open sky.
Hope you like them!
A few night shots from the streets of Tokyo.
For this series, I used a Black Mist filter to add a subtle glow to highlights and recreate some of the atmosphere of the GR IV HDF. I really like how it softens bright lights while keeping the overall scene natural.
Hope you enjoy them!
Spent the day wandering through Nakameguro and Daikanyama with my Ricoh GR IV.
All photos are straight out of camera (SOOC).
Hope you enjoy them!
One of my favorite sections of the Shanghai Museum is the bronze gallery.
There’s something captivating about ancient Chinese bronze ware.
Every vessel carries traces of history, from its weathered patina to the intricate decorative motifs cast thousands of years ago.
Visited the Morandi exhibition at the Museum of Art Pudong today. More than a hundred original works, all built around ordinary bottles, bowls, and everyday objects, yet every painting feels incredibly calm and timeless.
I tried to capture a bit of Morandi’s quiet mood with my GR IV. Hope you like them.
Visited the Shanghai Museum to see Dawn of the First Empire, a special exhibition about the Qin Dynasty and China’s first unification.
The exhibition is beautifully curated, with incredible bronze artifacts, ancient inscriptions, and dramatic lighting that creates a wonderful atmosphere for photography.
All photos are straight out of camera.
Hope you enjoy them, and I’d love to hear which shot is your favorite!

There’s something special about Nikko Toshogu in the rain. The wet stone paths, misty air, and deep greens created a mood that felt almost cinematic. These were shot with the Ricoh GR IV using the Negative Film profile, straight out of camera. Thanks for looking!
Blue skies, fluffy clouds, golden sunshine, and turquoise water. Nature did all the editing. Ricoh Positive Film simply captured it. 🌊✨
There was a touch of sadness in this dog’s eyes, but it was still irresistibly cute.
I shot some green scenes with my Ricoh GR IV. The image control is Negative Film. Hope you enjoy the shots.
