How to set up email alias?
So I was recently admitted as a transfer student, but my logon id was already created for me so I was unable to change it. A while back I signed up for a summer class here but never actually ended up enrolling after I saw the price. During that, I created my logon ID, which was firstnamelastname200Y (13 characters long), with Y corresponding to my birth year, which is about the same as the rest of the junior class. Looking back, that probably isn't the most professional email to have as my official UCLA email (my name is also very much not common so I could have gone traditional firstnamelastname). Does anyone know how I can set up an email alias so that my initial emails to professors/employers have a better email (firstname.lastname@ucla.edu)? Or is it fine to keep what I currently have?
