Hand, Foot, & Mouth relief?

Any tried and true tricks for Hand Foot and Mouth? My three year old has been writhing in discomfort from the itchiness of his feet all night. It’s almost 1am and he’s genuinely slept for 10 minutes.

We did do a little Genexa acetaminophen and that didn’t seem to do anything for him.

We did calamine lotion on his foot spots and I think that made it feel worse somehow, even though none of his spots/blisters have opened.

I accidentally did a heating pad on his feet to distract him from the pain before reading that that might make the itchiness worse.

We wrapped his feet in cold cloths after that, though they weren’t very cold… probably should’ve soaked them in an ice bath first.

What gave your kid true relief? Hoping he can eventually fall asleep and tha we don’t do a round two of this tomorrow night!

Help us plan our 5 year anniversary trip!

My husband and I haven’t been away from our kids overnight literally ever, so for our 5 year anniversary we booked a cute little AirBnB literally six minutes down the road from our house just to get away from the kids for a night and do something special for once!

But the booking of the AirBnB is where all planning stopped 😂

I would love your recommendations on:

• a nice spot for dinner with reasonable prices. Would love to spend between $15-$22 per entree if we’re able! None of those boujee $50 plates please 😅 Open on a Monday night!

• a cute spot for coffee and breakfast in the morning! I’ve never been to Cleo & Leo and that keeps coming to mind, but any favorite places where you can get both a custom coffee (were latte snobs) and a killer breakfast?
