Weirdest study habits during bar prep? Past & present takers
I’d love to pick everyone’s brain. Give me the craziest habits. If you think you’re weird you most likely are. 😂

Well. 8200 shares of IBIT. CC’ing every month. .15 delta. I don’t think I can fail. Long Bitcoin. Theta Gang.
It’s been a little over a year since I passed the Florida Bar Exam on the first try. I just started thinking about it because I’ve been seeing tons of law school graduations happening around the country. Bar prep season is starting right now, and the number of sleepless nights everyone is about to have is going to be insane.
Barbri and Kaplan make it seem like you have to follow their schedule to a T, and that doing more and more is suddenly going to make all the difference. The test is scary and hard, don’t get me wrong. The videos from the bar prep companies feature professors who are there to help you refresh the material, but honestly, they don’t help that much on their own.
The only real advice I can give is this: practice and take thousands of questions at all difficulty levels. Doing practice questions and memorizing rule statements is what actually makes you pass. The more you can eat, sleep, and breathe those rule statements, the easier the test becomes. The moment you can explain your rules to a non-lawyer without even blinking is when you truly know them like the back of your hand.
In my opinion, the key to success is memorizing super simple rule statements and grinding through tons of practice questions. The bar examiners, especially on the essay portions know it’s impossible to have every single detail memorized at once. The more concise and simple your rules are, the better.
Take it easy. You’ve got this! And don’t forget to take breaks. I’m posting my old scores because you’ll be posting yours in the future 😉
