Hey hypermobile friends. Looking for some advice

I've had terrible tmj for 3 years, but it got particularly bad this past year. The medical system has drained the life out of me lol, I was on the waiting list for a stabilisation splint, had it booked for August. They cancelled on me, I experienced a closed lock so got my mp involved, fought like hell, they got me an appointment and I finally got the impressions taken for my splint yesterday!

They also offered me 4-6 rounds of botox. I went along with it in the moment but now I'm thinking about it, idk. My plan was to do more jaw excercises once I get my splint to build up the muscle to support my jaw.

Im just wondering if anyone has advice or experiences they can share with this?
