Why is Israel so very interested in the outcome of the Thomas Massie primary race?
Israel is heavily invested in making sure that Congressman Thomas Massie (R- Kentucky) is NOT re-elected, but why?

Pro-Israel Groups Pour Record Sums Into Bid to Defeat GOP Rebel Thomas Massie in Kentucky Primary
- Quote
WASHINGTON – Tuesday's Kentucky Republican primary for Rep. Thomas Massie's 4th District seat is perhaps the most important date in the 2026 primary calendar as far as Israel should be concerned.
Massie has long been a thorn in the sides of both the GOP leadership and the pro-Israel and Jewish establishment. He is an advocate for the release of all Justice Department files related to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein – even going as far as to accuse Epstein of being a former Israeli intelligence agent. Massie has also been vocal in his opposition to U.S. spending on Israeli military aid and the wars in Gaza and Iran, at times becoming antisemitic in nature.

A GOP primary has become a costly battle over Israel. Will it matter in the long run?
- Quotes
"A closely-watched Republican congressional primary, taking place on Tuesday after breaking fundraising records, is like a bingo card of recent American — and American Jewish — political discourse.
"The election is centered on support for Israel and US President Donald Trump. Jewish groups and donors have spent heavily on the campaign. Both sides are running ads with AI deepfakes. Tucker Carlson has weighed in.

"The primary will demonstrate just how much of a hold Trump still has on his party. But it’s also seen as a test of whether a staunch critic of Israel can survive in today’s GOP.
"Massie has consistently voted against US aid to Israel — including its missile defense system, Iron Dome. In the closing days of the campaign, he announced a bill to register the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. He’s also been accused of antisemitism for reasons that have nothing to do with Israel. AIPAC, the Republican Jewish Coalition and Christians United for Israel have all lined up behind Gallrein and spent heavily on him.

What do you know, the Israeli press is less shy about proclaiming Israel's interests than are US publications - FUNNY, THAT!
Can you imagine the HOWLS if it were Chinese money and publications proclaiming their interests... or (heaven forbid!) DA WUSSIANS!!!??? There would be lines of peasants with torches and pitchforks headed for Kentucky!
Maybe it's time that Americans took a long hard look at OUR interests, and reevaluate whether they are compatible with those of ANY foreign government.
One line from the Times of Israel really stood out (above):
- "But it’s also seen as a test of whether a staunch critic of Israel can survive in today’s GOP"
How does that saying go? "To learn who rules over you..."
Something like that. Right, Congressman Massie?
