What is this strange spiral pattern? New to anarchy
Hi guys,
I'm new to anarchy and found a 2by1 tunnel dug on the nether side which goes on for tens of thousands of blocks and, at one point, has an active nether portal. I entered it hoping it might lead to a chunk trail maybe, but I found this strange pattern.
On the map, red is for newly generated chunks, white is for older generated chunks, and purple is an active nether portal in that chunk.
The thing that's strange to me is the deliberate-looking spiral pattern. Btw, I've found multiple of these across the overworld.
My first thought was that a stash hunter found the 2by1 tunnel and started following it, found something strange at that given chunk, where they placed the nether portal, and started mapping the overworld. (I've seen in a video that this spiraling pattern was used by bots and players to automatically map areas.)
Another possibility I thought of is that the tunnel maker deliberately made a fake chunk trail to mislead stash hunters.
I'm completely new to anarchy, though. I've only been playing for a week, so I wanted to ask people who have experience with anarchy.
