Kruger safari with a 72-year-old – travel advice
Hi everyone!
I’m planning a safari trip to Kruger in late October with my 72-year-old aunt, who has a history of stroke and heart attack.
This is a dream trip for her and something she has wanted to do for a very long time, so I’d really love to make it happen if it’s safe for her.
Unfortunately, the earliest travel medicine appointment we could get is in end of September here in Portugal, but I would like to book the flights now to avoid much higher prices closer to the trip.
My main concern is her age and medical history…
I know this doesn’t replace a medical consultation, but if there are any doctors or healthcare professionals here who could give some general guidance, or anyone who has been in a similar situation, I’d really appreciate your opinion.
We’re planning to fly from Portugal via Madrid or Dubai to Johannesburg.
Thank you very much.
