Bad Days Weeks After Surgery?
I had my hysterectomy and excision for stage 4 endometriosis 11 weeks ago. I have mostly good days but this week I had a few bad ones. Days where I am exhausted, I could sleep all day and still be tired, where my stitches feel extra sensitive to bending down, where my stomach and bowels are out of whack and causing slight cramping pain, and where my emotions are just low and I wonder if this will ever end.
Looking for reassurance that I’m not going crazy and this has happened to others. Especially feeling upset that I’m struggling “so many” weeks post-op, as my surgeon insisted I’d be fully healed by 6 weeks, and everyone else in my life acts like I’m dragging this on and should be back to my “normal self” by now.
