It's taking more than 15 days....
Hey guys,
I applied for a visa to Norway from the UK for tourism purposes, as I am travelling there for two weeks. I submitted my application on the 30th of April, and it has now been over 15 days, so I am starting to get a little anxious about the processing time.
Originally, I planned to travel on the 20th May, which was also mentioned clearly in my cover letter and supporting documents, although I can still change the travel dates if needed, so that part is not really an issue.
I just genuinely want to understand why the process can take so long.
To make things simple, I provided absolutely everything properly:
- strong financial evidence,
- university letters,
- military recruitment/training documents,
- work related proof,
- and clear evidence showing I have strong ties back to the UK and fully intend to return.
- And all the other documents required by them.
I spent a lot of time making sure everything was correctly formatted and professionally presented, including the cover letter. Honestly, I feel confident and proud of the application I submitted.
So I suppose my question is, why does it still take this long even when everything is genuine and properly documented?
I am not trying to sound arrogant at all, I am just genuinely curious about the process because from my perspective everything was straightforward and legitimate.
