How to be diplomatic when every cell in your body is screaming against the injustice? Ad-hoc appointments as political tools is one thing but conducting exams and pretending to do it on the basis of merit and fairness and then taking a u-turn and making it political doles for “sakaune machey haru” and their family is as EVIL at it can get. We are not speaking up due to jealousy and hating on people who made it through ……we are mourning the loss of our time, effort, hopes and aspirations because we were made to believe we could rely on a constitutional body that recruits people through exams on the basis of merit.
Why not just change the recruitment system altogether and make it like the spoils system of USA instead of the merit system we’ve adopted? If you want to recruit YOUR people then do it openly- why hide behind this exam-merit fraud and waste people’s time. Why give hope to innocent people and then crush it so mercilessly?
Don’t ask us to be the bigger person and be happy for people who took away what was never theirs to begin with. The ones who got through unfairly know how they got through, so people who get offended when we fret about the unfairness, don’t be a mouthpiece for them and proclaim your overnight acquired saint-level empathy. It is an exam, if the results are not adding up-people will talk. What bugs me more is the young, educated lot who simply do not care at all and want us to not care too.
