Help with locality identification- Beryl specimen with fluorescent section.

Hello all, I have a puzzle I'm trying to figure out. Wondering if anyone here has any clues.

This beryl was sold to me as a Hogg Mine specimen. However, after buying, I noticed it has a large section of high fluorescence under shortwave. I suspect the fluorescence is caused by a light coating of hyalite opal, though not positive on that.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure after doing some research and asking someone I know who works at the Hogg, that this specimen is probably not from that mine.

My question is, does anyone have any ideas about where this beryl could be from generally? Not looking for exact mines obviously as that would be pretty hard to determine. However, has anyone seen large beryl with high fluorescence before and happen to know where it might be from?
