I want to cancel my account

I haven't used coursera in months and it just renewed the payment two days ago. I wanted to contact customer service to see if they would refund me the money for this month instead of canceling it literally a month from now. Its clear as day that I haven't used it or made progress since the site tracks every move you make.

I asked the chat bot "How does a customer contact customer service?"
the response: "I'm sorry I am uncertain that I have the correct answer. Can you try and rephrase your question?"

There is no other way to rephrase that ask its direct, to the point...

How do I contact customer service?

Washing machine agitator

I have a GE stackable washer/dryer. I whenever I run a cycle there is debris that comes up. I know its coming from the agitator and I cleaned what I could of the agitator but I cant remove it as the bolt is stripped, and there is still gunk at the bottom of the agitator. How can I clean this further?

Choosing Agentic Platform to Learn

Any laboratory scientists using ai agents?
How are you using it, what platform do you suggest to learn first for processing large amounts of data? I'm looking into making agents for data analysis and visualization that would be friendly in a corporate setting.

Does anyone else feel embarrassed networking while unemployed?

There are a few networking events coming up that I want to attend, but I feel embarrassed about going because I've been unemployed for over a year. For context, I'm at the associate scientist level and have a B.S. degree.

Part of me worries that being out of work this long makes me look less current, but I still want to stay connected to the field.

I know the whole point of networking is to meet people, talk to others who are interested in the same field, and stay connected. It makes sense, but I still worry when answering questions like:

"What do you do?" "Where are you working now?"

I don't want people to hear that I'm currently looking for new opportunities and assume I'm only there to find a job, rather than to have a real conversation about the field. I genuinely want to discuss the science, learn what people are working on, and stay connected as much as I can.

Does anyone else experience this? How do you handle networking events when you're unemployed without feeling embarrassed?
