Shock or dying?
Ordered several limelight prime hydrangeas (Proven Winners) which arrived quickly but some looked sorta droopy. I figured they were just unhappy in transit. I let them sit outside two days before planting them in amended soil (no fertilizer, just compost and top soil). Half are doing okay and half look like they’re on death’s doorstep. Am I worrying too much or did I just waste a lot of time/money? I’m in 7b and while it has been warm the last few days, it hasn’t been anything too crazy (mid 80s). They didn’t seem especially dry when we planted them, and we’ve given them good water the last two days. Any help is appreciated!
