What’s in my car interior?
For context, I live in KL Malaysia. I usually park my car in the shade. It is a 2 year old car bought brand new. Occasionally consume purchased drinks in the car, don’t eat in it though. Windows and sunroof always closed. Never noticed any bugs. Found these brown spots all over the dashboard plastic, ceiling fabric - wife usually drives it, I only noticed it today when I drive it, not sure how long they’ve been there. Aircon vents are clear, none on the center console or seats. Some appear smudged. I’m thinking either mold/mildew as prime suspects and also considering insect droppings.
