Saw that the official X account for USA Mahouka posted and I genuinely got jump-scared. I’m so used to seeing the JP one. No release date yet but the mention of Anime Expo has me thinking that maybe, possibly, they announce it during Anime Expo. I sure hope so, just having a general idea of when the US release is slated to come out will make the wait less brutal.
I’m not too far from LA so I was thinking about visiting this event as it’s the publisher who makes the Arslan manga. There’s supposed to be a library of manga to read and I really hope I can spot Arslan in there. I also want to see if I can get in touch with someone about printing some more of the volumes that are currently out of print. Volume 11 is currently only being sold on one of their official retailers for $95 (Amazon) while the other sites are completely out of stock. I myself bought volume 11 second hand for around $80. It’s ridiculous considering the original price was $10.99 and I doubt the publisher is seeing any of the extra money from the sale of these few remaining volumes. I’m not optimistic but I feel like I have to at least try. Anyone else near LA also considering going?
I found a pic someone took of the movie film strip merch that was being handed out to people who went to watch the movie in theaters, and spotted this image. I have been looking forward to seeing Tatsuya’s backstory animated the most out of everything in this arc, so seeing this made me freak out. It made me even more impatient for the international release than I already was. Hopefully they announce the date soon because I’m so EXCITED!!! I gotta bring tissues with me to the theater because I will be CRYING… that’s guaranteed.
