I saw a lot of memes blaming the middle order for our loss but that’s not where the main problem was. Gill went in with four pace bowlers, yet we couldn't pick up a single wicket until the 30th over. Bethel was clearly struggling early on as an opener, but he still went on to score a brilliant 91. To make it worsewe leaked 60 runs in the last three overs alone.

For KLR it’s better to just drop him instead of giving proper spot for him they are breaking his confidence And why wasn't Rishabh backed? Is it because he doesn't play up to Gautam Gambhir like others do? Look at how England backed Jos Buttler despite his poor form and now he’s delivering results. Coming back to the bowling it was one of our absolute worst performances particularly in the death overs. I expected Prasidh to bowl well but he ended up leaking runs just like the rest in death but compared to others he really bowled well. And Another Thing We didn't use spinners much but England used spinner well Adil rasidh and Bethel took wickets I liked brook captaincy here

I'm really pissed on seeing the performance what the fuck is wrong with ICT and at this point I believe India won 2026 only because of rigged pitches. Selection Bias for t20i squad and including a player as a captain who was not even in t20i setup for nearly 3 years. Why didn't Ishan and Shreyas did not anchor anchor instead gone for big shots and gone out cheaply. Problems I noticed are :

1. No players have game awareness and couldn't play according to pitch conditions and ground dimensions

2. Ipl flat tracks just killed batters , here nobody is proper batter

3. Shreyas Iyer doesn't deserve to be captain

4)Failures of all rounders especially Dube Bowling was ok but batting was a complete flop

And I'm happy Now people will understand the value of anchoring and building in innings in pressure matches . Now people can understand that being intent merchants alone won't help in t20i .

Is anyone else still processing that loss? Ireland didn't just get lucky, they genuinely outplayed our guys from the start.

Seriously, what is wrong with Prasidh Krishna’s bowling? Bro was bowling on a pitch that actually had pace assistance and still went for an economy of 14. It’s completely unacceptable when a part-time bowler like Dube is out there bowling well and keeping things tight, while our frontline pacer is getting smashed everywhere.

Also, can someone explain why Washington Sundar is in the T20I squad? Don't get me wrong, he is good in Tests and decent in ODIs, but T20is just aren't his format. He gets targeted way too easily and doesn't have the variations for it.

And let's talk about Sanju Samson's inconsistency. It is just too much at this point. The guy literally only plays well in like 3 to 4 matches a whole year and just throws his wicket away the rest of the time. You can't rely on him to anchor an innings when the top order collapses.

On top of all that, Shreyas did the absolute worst captaincy and batting.I really missed Hardik and SKY out there—we desperately needed their match awareness and ability to handle pressure.

He was brilliant in the 2023 WC and 2025 CT, but his 2026 form has completely fallen off a cliff.

Look at his last 6 ODI scores this year:

20, 26, 12 (vs AFG)

3, 8, 49 (vs NZ)

That’s 118 runs at an average of 19.6. Completely unacceptable for India's No. 4.

Two technical flaws are getting heavily exposed right now:

1. The Hard Length Exploit

The blueprint to get him out is obvious. Pacers hit the deck hard, aim at his body, and he immediately looks cramped. He still awkwardly fends at short balls and throws his wicket away.

2. Struggle against Spin

This is the real concern. Dominating spin used to be his superpower. Lately, he looks totally stuck against them. He stops rotating the strike, the dot ball pressure builds, and he plays a terrible shot to compensate.

If you get exposed by hard lengths and can no longer attack spinners in the middle overs, what exactly is your role?

should management start testing other options? Is it time to bring Ishan Kishan back into the fold and give him a serious run at No. 4?
