Account randomly terminated?

So Ive had a YouTube channel that I used to upload on when I was younger. Now it’s pretty much all deleted except a few old game clips.

I haven’t posted/commented anything in atleast 1-2 years and just watch videos. Yet today I was banned for violating TOS. Nothing more than that was said. Ive gone ahead and appealed but how the hell does this even happen
