Scam company?
I got an offer from these just got one interview with the firms CEO, then they sent me an offer. Couldn't find any online presences for that guy, HR profile looks legit but Claude gave me this,
X Inc. was incorporated in Colorado only in July 2025 — less than a year ago — through an online incorporation service, with a virtual mailbox as its registered address.
• The "corporate office" listed in the offer letter (110 16th Street, Suite 1460, Denver, CO) is a known virtual office/coworking space, not a real place of business.
• The company's only website, elysiummall.com, describes itself as a "Smart Mall Simulator" — a video game concept — not a real employer.
• The supervisor, has no verifiable professional existence online. Even though I had an interview with him, I couldn't find any internet presence.
• During our email correspondence, the company's representative accidentally addressed me by another student's name ("Ismael"), suggesting they are sending identical offer letters to multiple international students simultaneously.
• The company has been persistently pressuring me to sign quickly and submit the letter for CPT approval.
I have not signed the offer letter or submitted anything to your office. I do have signed NDA documents from the company, which they required before the interview.
