Old lump under cat’s ear got smaller but also red
Hi, I’m planning to check with my vet, but wanted to get some input in the meantime.
My cat (f17, CKD) has had a lump under her ear for about 1.5 years. It was relatively large, stable, and never seemed painful - my vet wasn’t concerned.
Today I’ve noticed that it got smaller but also reddish. It’s definitely a very recent change. I used a wet cotton to tap on it a little and it didn’t seem to bother her. I’m attaching a current photo. Unfortunately I can’t find one from a year ago for comparison. What looks like hair loss isn’t really - it’s the same on the other side.
What could this be?
