Currently Studying TCGs

I’ve always been a big fan of TCGs, gameplay mechanic wise. I started way back with MTG Revised, in the 90s heyday. Also played Vampire, Rage, Arcadia (it was the 90s, White Wolf was a whole thing lol)

Lately I’ve been trying new stuff like Lorcana, One Piece, Star Wars Unlimited, and even finally bothering to learn Pokemon lol.

One thing I’ve noticed is games like Lorcana and SWU where playing cards double as resources. Even One Piece has its Don system, where if nothing else you can spend resources to power up characters for that turn.

How do modern TCG players feel about double, conflicting usages of cards as resources, or resources having effects beyond paying costs? How do you feel about that vs, say, Hearthstone’s resource system?

How does one trade for a genuine Mew?

I’m looking for a legit Mew. Doesn’t need to be special or from a special event, doesn’t need to be shiny. A vanilla Mew. Just preferably not genned. What do people usually look for in a trade for these? I have a smattering of basic shinies and some extra basic Legendarys, but I doubt that’s enough.
