Hi everyone, I’m an Indian student admitted to the D2HP program at Paris-Saclay starting August 25. I’m currently processing my loan and preparing for my VFS appointment.
The GUPS/CROUS campaign for "normal" students(I mean non scholorship holders) doesn't open until July 8, but I need to apply for my visa way before that to ensure I don't miss my start date.
My Plan:
I’m thinking of booking a 3-month refundable hotel/Airbnb (no prepayment) for the visa proof. Is this 100% safe for VFS India?
Once I get my visa, I’ll apply for Visale and then try my luck on the CROUS/GUPS portal on July 8.
If I don't get CROUS, I'll look at private residences like Ecla or All Suites.
My Questions:
Has anyone recently used a 3-month Booking.com confirmation for a French student visa in India? Any rejections?
Any advice on how to show this to the bank for loan disbursement?
