Apparently Trump was "promised" by Xi Jingping that China would not send arms to Iran.

Is this was the Right considers leadership? To have promises made like schoolchildren when it comes to high-stakes, real-world diplomacy?

I guess we shouldn't forget when Trump said that the Iran war will end "when I feel it, feel it in my bones.”

So that's how you handle international politics then, eh?

Is this how America's hegemony ultimately ends, with pinky promises and vibes?

My 4 and 2 year olds, weirdly enough, cannot get enough of the musical album, specifically the first 3 songs: The Eve of War; Horsell Common and The Heat Ray; and The Artillery Man and the Fighting Machine.

Both the Burton and Neeson versions.

They love to listen to "the alien songs."

My 2 year old has the dialogue describing the opening of the cylinder down pat, and says "quivered and slathered" right on time.

I was SCARED SHITLESS of that album when I was a little kid, between the menacing Fighting Machines and the ULLAHH sung.

My kiddos, however, are little weirdos and love it.

Has anyone else's kids really taken to it?
