Unraid only detecting one (vertical) row of drives in new Silverstone RM43-324-RS chassis build

So I’ve finally gotten my system back together after upgrading and switching the chassis a few times and settled on the Silverstone RM43-324-RS and had to shell out for a 9305-24i in order to connect the 6 individual 8643 slots on the backplanes.

I start it up and only the second vertical row of drives are detected by Unraid which seems very strange because the 6 backplanes are divided horizontally. All the lights are on showing the drives are detected in the chassis but only that second row shows up in Unraid.

Someone else seemed to have the exact same problem with the 20 bay version of the case on the forum a year ago but never followed up if they got it fixed or not. Even had the same row of drives be detected.

I confirmed the card is in IT mode and everything is properly seated. Both molex are connected on each backplane as well. Had updated to 7.3.0 rc2 prior to taking it down to rebuild in the new chassis and wanted to back up the usb again before going to 7.3.0 stable. It was working fine before switching to this setup so I feel like it’s most likely an issue with the HBA but not sure what it could be.

If anyone here has experienced this issue with this chassis or a similar one I’d appreciate any pointers.

Edit: Just tried my old 9300-8i that I used with the Supermicro 847 and it detected the first 8 drives with no problem so must be an issue with the 9305-24i card. Is it possible that it’s something inherent to the 9305-24i model that needs to be changed/accounted for or is it just an error with this particular card?
