Helping someone in sales getting better with analysis

I work for a fashion group and we do B2B sales.
Basically we do sales on platforms like Veepee, Zalando, Sarenza etc.
I am using excel on a daily basis to see sales, number of pieces sold, profit etc.
I am using xlookup and pivot tables on a daily basis and I know many basic formulas.
Sometimes I would like to go further into the analysis than basically stating how many pcs sold we had for a certain campaign and compare it to last month’s campaign but when I try to look into getting better into my critical thinking skills and ask ChatGPT for help on how to proceed, usually I feel like ChatGPT is trying to explain to me pretty intense and advanced ways to do an analysis and it gets me more confused than I was from the start and overwhelmed by the number of tools actually available on Excel to me.
For example, we had a campaign for one of our shoe brand recently and we just introduced the new references for the season in this campaign. I have an excel file from the platform we sell that tells me the number of pieces sold hour by hour and day by day and I was thinking " it would be so interesting to look at how fast the new references got sold into this campaign and see which ones were the most popular, like for example if any of the new references got sold out, after how many days did it happen? Did the sale increased on the weekend and if so at what pace ? Is there a trend where, for example, black sandals for women got sold way quicker than other color ?" Etc etc.
I am just stuck at: I have no idea how to proceed, where to start ? I haven’t done data analytics in college and I got a BBA in management so I’m pretty basic but I realized that I am really passionate in understanding trends, creating graphs and trying to read more in depth into a sale with my current job (that I started a year ago). I just genuinely want to be better, more advanced and keep growing on a professional level.
What advices would you give me to help me get better at this ?
I don’t want anything too advanced but sometimes I am in front of my excel file and I’m just thinking " damn would it be nice if I knew how to make an interactive dashboard to show easily certain growth or decrease from certain shoe categories or certain campaign we had " and then just share it to upper management and see if they found it as relevant as I did.
